National Escargot Day - Guest designer for the Day of the Month Card Club

V mesecu marcu sem na blogu Day of the Month Card Club Challenge sodelovala pri izzivu #25: Learn about butterfly day z Dvoslojnim metuljem in bila izbrana kot zmagovalka izziva. 

Na tem mestu bi se rada zahvalila navdihujoči ustvarjlni ekipi Day of the Month Card Club, ki nam vsak mesec dajo razlog za praznovanje.

 

In March, on the Day of the Month Card Club Challenge blog, I participated in challenge # 25: Learn about butterfly day with the Two-layer Butterfly and was selected as the winner of the challenge.

At this point, I would like to thank the inspiring creative team of the Day of the Month Card Club who give us a reason to celebrate every month.

 

 

Zelo sem vesela, da vas lahko v mesecu Maju pozdravim kot gostujoča ustvarjalka bloga Day of the Month Card Club Challenge. Tema meseca maja in Izziva #27 je Nacionalni Escargot dan.

I am very happy to welcome you this May as a creative guest of the Day of the Month Card Club Challenge. Theme of month May and Challenge #27 is National Escargot Day.

  

Nacionalni Escargot dan se praznuje 24. maja, ko so v središču pozornosti Escargot specialitete - jedi pripravljene iz polžev. Escargot je najbolj znan po tem, da ga strežejo v Franciji, od kod prihaja ime.

 

The National Escargot Day is celebrated on May  24th, when the focus is on Escargot specialties - dishes prepared from snails. Escargot is best known for being served in France, where the name comes from.

 

 

In tukaj je moja voščilnica za tokratni mesečni izziv.

And here is my card for this monthly challenge. 

Ozadje voščilnice sem izdelala s pomočjo doma narejene stencil šablone. Stencil sem izdelala iz plastične predloge od The Crafters workshop (TCW340) s pomočjo rezalnih šablon iz seta rezalnih šablon Sizzix Thinlits - Card, Square w/Center Accordion Folds (#658848) in Najlepši par Na travniku. Za senčenje sem uporabila Distress Oxide Tumbled glass in Mowed lawn.

 

I made the background of the card using a homemade stencil template. I made it from a stencil sheet from The Crafters workshop (TCW340) with the help of cutting dies from a set Sizzix - Card, Square w/Center Accordion Folds (# 658848) and The Most Beautiful Couple On the Meadow. I used Distress Oxide Tumbled glass and Mowed lawn for shading.

 

Za izdelavo voščilnice sem še uporabila rezalne šablone Mariane Design Collectables COL1364, Sizzix Small Tattered Florals (#661806) od Tim Holtz in od Najlepši par.
Napisi so iz seta štampiljk BB Bitty Bears od My Favorite things, odtisnila sem jih z VersaFine Clair blazinico. Izreze sem barvala z Distress Ink blazinicami  Vintage photo in ostalih pomladnih barvah. V rožice sem dodala še kapljice Ranger Stickles Frosted lace.

 

To make this card, I also used cutting dies from Mariane Design Collectables COL1364, Sizzix Small Tattered Florals (# 661806) from Tim Holtz, and from The Most Beautiful Couple.

The sentiments are from the BB Bitty Bears stamp set from My Favorite things, I stamped them with a VersaFine Clair ink pad. I colored the cutouts with Distress Ink pads Vintage photo and other spring colors. I added drops of Ranger Stickles Frosted lace to the flowers.
